Our mission:

This penthouse used to be 2 apartments, one on each side of the staircase and elevator area for the apartment building. Since they were joined together this staircase area remained in the middle never really making this apartment feel like one complete home. This was the biggest problem for both the apartment and the roof terrace and was our challenge to solve. Also, all materials and the interior of the kitchen and bathrooms, the fireplace and the furniture were outdated and needed a fresh new design.

We solved the hallway problem by opening up towards the living room with big glass doors and changing the railing of the staircase to a modern design with glass panels. We chose a new tiling for all floors in the apartment and put the same in the hallway and stairs to include this area in the apartment.

The result is now a light and open apartment with a good flow between the living and kitchen area, hallway and bedrooms and the stunning roof terrace.
