But at the same time, for someone who doesn’t know the company, its values, or what the company offers, the words we/us don’t say anything.

It feels like everything around you has stopped, and in that exact moment everything becomes clear – You´ve found your perfect retreat, and you can picture how this house could become your personal heaven. Maybe it will be a cozy rental, a holiday getaway, or your forever home, but one thing remains the same: you need help to put your vision to life. Whether it is a renovation project or you need to fill your home with furniture, you might start to wonder ‘Where do I even begin?’ The answer is simple – HOME Andalu Living.

We (Lasse and Cecilia) started our company in 2012, which is now HOME Andalu Living with a team of ten employees. Since then, we have helped hundreds of foreign homeowners to create their dream homes here in Spain. We believe your home should be more than just a place – It should be a reflection of your dreams, lifestyle, and personality

Moving to Spain

Lasse grew up in Bærum and holds a Master of Architecture degree from Oslo School of Architecture. I´m Cecilia, an interior designer from Gothenburg, Sweden, who shares his interest in design and construction. We met while I was studying at the Merkantilt Institute in Oslo, Norway.

We started with an architecture office in Norway, but in 2009, we took a leap of faith. We sold everything we owned, closed the office, took our children, and started to build our own dream home in Andalucia. But we quickly learned that many things work differently here than in our home country. Despite our expertise, we got often overwhelmed by the different rules, endless decisions, and tricky details like finding a good construction company, or the right material and where to find it. We kept wishing we had some on-spot who could guide us through the process of laws and regulations. Someone who we could trust and help us with permits, source materials, and manage the process day-to-day. It would have saved us a lot of time and frustration.

That is how the Idea of HOME Andalu Living was born: out of our desire to offer other people what we wished we had – a partner with the expertise and answers to our questions we didn’t have. A partner to make the process smoother, easier, and more enjoyable.

Stress-free Home Renovations

At HOME Andalu Living, we take your experience during the renovation process just as seriously as the final result. We know building a house, or doing full renovations can be very stressful if you are not prepared and specifically if you don’t have the time to follow up on each little thing and be onsite often enough for controls. We experienced this first hand back in 20009, which is why we have specialized in taking care of every step of the way for you, right here in Spain. You can focus on your everyday life at home while we do the work here and keep you updated throughout the whole process. You are involved in each step, but we handle everything for you.

We plan your project with you, not for you. By combining your ideas, lifestyle, and budget with our expertise, we co-create a home that reflects who you are and how you live. You can go through the process relaxed knowing you have a team onsite that works for you and look forward to opening the doors to your dream home, a place that feels truly yours.

Our Services

Interior design

Each of our interior design projects is tailored to reflect your dreams and needs. Thanks to a long experience of large and small construction projects, we have the knowledge and contact network required. We specialize in turnkey projects that help us throughout the process. In this way, we can offer a safe and quality-assured construction process, as well as a beautiful and tailor-made interior to your taste.

Projects/renovation

We know that our clients come to us because they want a certain level of quality of their homes here in Spain. In your role as the Project Manager, just getting recommended a builder will not secure this, many things can get in the way of having some sort of control over the process here in Spain. Not only can there be language difficulties, but there are also other rules, bureaucracy, new materials, and a building culture that is different from home. It can also be difficult to follow the actual renovation work when you still have an everyday life to take care of.

Having one person to communicate with from start to finish, whom you also feel understands you, makes the process so much easier than trying to juggle the process and coordinate with several companies. That is why we follow you all the way, from idea to move-in ready home. We work with selected Architects and builders who have the same high level of quality, focus on details, and attention to the final result as we do. Being your eyes here on site, it is important for us to select only the best as your team for your dream home so you can feel secure that the home you are building will be exactly as you envisioned or even better.

Furniture packages

Finding furniture for your vacation home here in Spain is another thing that might be a bit difficult and time-consuming, especially if you are new in the area. For a completely new home you will need everything, from the sofa to the cookware, and very rarely will you find all you need in one shop. To make this easier, we have created a Turnkey service where we work with you online and create a complete package to furnish your home down to the last detail, with furniture and details tailored for you and your needs, in the style and budget you want.

We also offer ready-designed furniture packages, which are perfect if you have little time to design your home or buy only to rent out your property.

Styling

We know that the details makes all the difference, the last touch that makes a house a home, that adds that personal touch and welcoming feeling.

We offer professional styling services for your home whether it is for selling, rental, or if you just want to refresh your home with a new look, some new furniture, or change for new curtains. We help you maximize the appeal of your property and thoughtfully select decorations and accessories, creating a warm and inviting space that attracts prospective renters or buyers.
